Well, the food issue is getting a lot better. Today Una and Allan took me to the supermarket and I bought things like peanutbutter, jam, vinegar, cucumber, lemons, cheese and fruit! We also bought bread (no eggs added). Tonight I made a cheese sauce with noodles, carrots (cooked and uncooked) and broccoli. Allan, Una and their kids loved the sauce, but it won't be something I make often 'cos milk is quite expensive. So at least I feel a lot better about the food - at least I can give the boys bread if they are hungry. But hopefully they will soon learn to eat the meals that are prepared here.
It is so unbelievably hot here - a different kind of hot to Durban. I don't really know how to explain it - here the heat really gets to me, whereas in Durban, I found it bearable. Even in the room with the aircon on, it gets hot!
Today W-R and T-R went with J to school for a couple of hours and the kids here at home found a blow up pool which we filled with water for them - they had an absolute ball!!!
The boys seem to be settling in nicely - they play really well with the other kids, and love going with dad on the scooter!
I managed to get all 3 boys to sleep by about 10:30pm - Yay! I was aiming for 9pm - but we will get there eventually!
~* Peace and Love *~
