Yesterday afternoon I decided to head into Jincheng with Jimmy and Jason (while they were at gym with W-R and T-R), K-S and myself walked around town. Well, I should say, I walked around town, K-S demanded to be carried! Note to self: need to get a baby stroller! They dropped me off outside a coffee shop called QK, and that is where they would meet me in about 45 minutes!

I saw some lovely little shops - really nice clothes! (and shoes), and some really interesting little places. Then I decided to make my way back to QK! Now, those that know me, will know that I have absolutely no sense of direction!!! And all the little lanes look the same! Needless to say I was a little bit lost - until I bumped into a friend of Jason's who I met on the plane to Kinmen, by the name of Sam (from the States), and he kindly walked me back to QK - I got back safe and sound, where Jason was already waiting for me! (He had tried to call me, but the cell was in my bag and I never heard it ringing!!).

A note about Sam, he has been here for a year and a half, and is actually going back home tomorrow, to finish his studies, but says he will definately be back! And Rebecca (who I think I have mentioned before), she has been here for 2 years, and speaks chinese very well, and she is also off tomorrow to go back home to Alabama for the summer, she will be back in September - Bon Voyage!!!

Today (Tuesday), I did school with the boys in the morning (the other kids joined in and did puzzles and coloured in while listening to a story). Then this afternoon Una and Allan took their kids and myself, T-R and K-S (W-R was with dad at school), to Kinmen Forest Recreation Area! WOW - beautiful (piao-liarng!). There is a lovely play area for the kids, although us parents enjoyed it just as much! They had an absolute ball!!!
