Today J and I took the scooter to Jincheng - very windy ride, 'cos the scooter we are now using doesn't have a wind shield, so you really get wind blown.

When we got to the market J bought me a fresh fruit juice - squeezed from all kinds of fruit right in front of you .

Then we took a walk through the market - very interesting - believe me if you aren't vegeterian, you sure will be after you have walked around the market. Meat hanging everywhere - fresh fish right next to clothing they are selling - cooked chickens hanging too.

I found a "gown" - sort of a sleepshirt actually - quite long - it is blue and tye-dyed - it will serve the purpose - no more trying to do circus tricks when getting dressed in the bathroom (trying not to get your clothes wet!).

Then we went to see Phoebe and she had a friend there from the Phillipines, and immediately she wanted a photo taken with J and I - so we had to pose for a picture. Then Phoebe showed me these new hi-top takkies she just got from France (although made in China), but a little too expensive (NT$800) - they are really stunning though!

After that we went to the "Yellow shop", where J bought his cellphone and laptop - oh my! You must see the stunning stuff there - I told J we definately will be sending a container load home to SA - fridge, washing machine, hi-fi, cd player (wishfull thinking)!

We then rode back home and it started raining! Not too heavy though - got a bit wet - but we dried very quickly too. Then J took W-R and T-R with to gym, and then afterwards to the beach.

Then when they got back j went off to teach, and I gave them dinner, showered them and read them a story. By 8pm they were all sleeping!!!

J got home at about 9:30pm and we ate dinner at about 11:30pm. Now I am ready for bed! While we were eating dinner outside, I had an electronic "tennis racket", which you use to swat mosquitoes - what an invention!!!!

Anyway, have to be up early in the morning 'cos we are going to CC's graduation at 9am!
