So we are now counting down the days till Christmas! (we are no longer on how many months, but down to how many days, mom?)....
The boys were so excited to put up the decorations (and Kitty is having great fun in trying to get them down! LOL)... however our new Christmas tree is great - it is big, almost as tall as me, actually the star on the top is higher than I am, and compared to our first Christmas tree here last year (which is only about a ruler length in height), it is big! It seems that all the foreigners I have met here all start off with a tiny tree!
The puppies are all gone! We took them to the pound on Friday. It was time... We had no response to the fliers and ads we had put up, and the pups weren't getting any younger, so we decided that it was time to let them go...it was a little sad to leave them there, but on the other hand it is so great not to have to face the dog poop of 4 puppies every day!
On the adoption front, we are STILL waiting for the social worker... not a word yet. We were really hoping it would be done before February next year, as my sister is getting married and we would have loved to have been there, unfortunately we can't travel until it is finalised:O(
I just hope the social worker comes soon - I really can't wait for it all to be done and final!
