An ANNIVERSARY & Chinese Festivities continue...

Today is the 1st anniversary of our Forever Family Day!

Last year, Chinese New Years Eve we took a train to Taitung to meet Deana and Luke of Morning Light Children's Home(http://mlchome.org), and to fetch our little Fairy Princess Asia-Faith!

It has been a wonderful year, watching her grow and her love for us grow has been awesome!

To read more about our adoption, visit our adoption blog ~ http://adoptingasia-faith.blogspot.com/

We are still waiting for our final decree, but we know it should be anyday now, the documents are with the judge....so we are waiting (im)patiently! LOL

THEN...

NOW...

Since it was Chinese New Year, the kids received "Hong bao" - lucky red envelopes.....Willow-River also insisted that we all wear red on Chinese New Year too!
The boys made their own dragon to do a dragon dance for us...

At around 11pm we heard a knock on our front door - this was the scene that greeted us!
They were having a bbq outside our front door - on the 4th floor - outside the elevator - no windows or any form of ventelation! The fire department back home would love this!

We were invited for a "Hot Pot" with our friends, Thomas and Wendy

We went with Colin and Kim and their kids to a park near us, and we climbed 127 steps to get to the top!!!!!

What an amazing scene outside your door Starr!! Looks wonderfully festive though! Your family is having such exposure to so many different and inspiring experiences - what an education! Can't believe you climbed all those steps! Must have felt like you'd been in the gym for an hour! :o)
