Jason leaves for Yilan this weekend (Saturday). He will be riding my scooter there, so please keep him in your prayers. He will be stopping over in Taitung and staying with Luke and Deana for the night, and then continuing on to Yilan in the morning. The kids and I will be going up on the weekend of the 18th August. Not too sure which day though, just waiting for the mover to confirm a date with us. We will be taking the high speed rail - don't fancy an 8 hour trip with 4 kids and a cat, so the high speed rail it is - in 2 hours we will be in Taipei, and then another hour or 2 by train to Yilan (depending on if it is the express or the milk train)...As much as I enjoy our little apartment and the friends we have here in Donggang, I am looking forward to our new home!
On Sunday it was our church's 1st year anniversary of opening here in Donggang. We actually joined their church just after they opened, so it was quite appropriate that it was also our last Sunday with them as a family, also very sad (for me anyway, as I cry so easily, and having to say goodbye to the few friends I have made here was very difficult for me).
On a lighter note (pardon the pun...), all my boys have had a haircut (well all of them except nunu, who wants his hair long - until the hairdresser leaves - then he wants his cut too - our hairdresser, Leo, comes to our home)... Anyway they are all much happier. I was not thrilled as I loved my boys hair, and especially Jason, as this was the first thing that drew my attention to him when I first saw him, his beautiful long hair (I have a thing for men with long hair - think Mel Gibson (Braveheart, I think), and Steven Segal (who the boys call "mom's man")... anyway, I am starting to get used to it, it actually looks quite good on him... I am actually thinking of doing mine too!!!! LOL Although I don't think I will, as it has taken me so long to finally have long hair (I have always kept it short, but I am enjoying it long for a while, but who knows I may get tempted.....). Here are a few pics...

And then this is me waaaaayyyyyy back when (obviously before kids and nature took a toll on my figure...not to mention coca-cola, a significant part of my daily diet) LOL

~* Peace and Love *~
