I can't believe my little boy is 6! Wow...
We went to the beach on Saturday to celebrate his birthday. We all had such a great time. Unfortunately for some reason they had no water in the pool (?), but there was water in the little splash pool and of course the fountains were on, so we had a wonderful time anyway. Our friend Brian met us there, so did Kevin and Zoe and Kevin's little dog Rascal (who does not like to swim).
The boys were also given a funny looking bike to ride around on by the manager of the beach complex. It looks almost like a unicycle although it also has two little wheels in the front and to steer this thing you lean to which ever side you want to turn to! I tried it out, but was hopeless at it! LOL The boys seemed to master it well though.
Asia-Faith loved the water, and didn't want to get out - she had a blast!
On Sunday we took a bus to Kaohsiung (to Costco) to buy a few groceries and Talis-Rain's birthday present - a bicycle - he is so stoked with his new bike... I got myself a little something too - a scrapbook kit with 2 albums, loads of paper and embelishments - I just need to find time to do some scrapping now! LOL
Jason also got himself a little something, an mp3 player, so he was stoked too! Willow-River is also going to be using it to record his teacher so we make sure he is getting his pronounciation of the chinese words correctly! The wonders of technology!!!
Tonight Brian is comming over for dinner with a friend of his who arrived yesterday from the USA, and Brian is cooking - what a pleasure!!!
