HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEANU-STORM!!!
I can't believe my baby is 4 years old today! He has been counting the sleeps till his birthday and last night he kept looking out the window and saying "it's not dark yet", finally when it was dark he said "look mom, only 1 more sleep till my birthday!".
He woke up early this morning (actually I think his brothers woke him - they were more excited I think to see what he got for his birthday).
We gave him his pressies, some playdough, a puzzle, a Shrek colouring in book and stickers and another maze and pattern drawing book, a magnetic wooden fishing rod and fish, and his "helicopter" as he calls it. It is kind of difficult to explain, I will post pictures, but I will try and explain it. You sit on it with your feet up and turn the "steering wheel" and it moves from side to side - reminds me of a toy when we were younger called a "wigwam", except the butt part of this doesn't move, but it still is a similar movement. Anyway he was thrilled with it. So now when the boys go to the park Willow-River rides his bike, Talis-Rain the rollerblades (and then they swop), and now Keanu-Storm has his "helicopter" to ride too!!! All are stoked.
He then went to school where he took some candy for the kids in his class and before lunch handed it out to all of them, and they sang "Happy Birthday" to him in Chinese and English. It was very cute!!!
Then after school Nana and Papa and aunty Mel chatted to him on skype - so I think he has had a good day!
